China aluminum customs record — sample view
Preview of what a Chinese exporter's 12-month customs report looks like — buyer geography, HS distribution, container trend, destination ports. The live search is on the roadmap (requires an ImportYeti or Panjiva integration we haven't wired yet).

Customs data questions
Where does this customs data come from?
The live customs lookup is on the roadmap and not yet active. Our planned integration targets ImportYeti and Panjiva, which maintain licensed datasets of US and global customs filings. When live, we will display counts, ports, and HS codes in aggregate only; we will not resell raw records.
How current will the records be?
Once the pipeline is live, aluminum customs filings are expected to appear within 2-4 weeks of shipment. The sample data shown on this page is illustrative only — it is not drawn from a live database.
Why should I check a supplier's customs record before ordering?
Customs records verify three things: (1) the mill actually ships internationally (not just a paper exporter), (2) they ship to your destination country / region, and (3) their claimed 'specialty' matches the HS codes they actually file. Mismatches are a major fraud flag.
