Methodology
Data sources. We combine (1) China State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) entity records, verified by Unified Social Credit Code, (2) stock-exchange listing status, (3) mill-published capacity disclosures, and (4) the breadth of publicly documented export markets. We do not display customs shipment volumes or certificate figures we cannot independently source — confirm those directly with the supplier via RFQ.
Weighting. Identity and registration, stock-exchange listing, mill capacity, breadth of documented export markets, and buyer-market fit. Each component scores from public data and scores zero where no public data exists — never estimated.
Tie-breakers. Listed-company status, longer founding date, and availability of English-language mill documentation.
Exclusions. Mills with active UFLPA Entity-List hits, trademark-counterfeiting cases, or less than 12 months of verifiable operating history are excluded even if large.
